Cocopah and Aztec races Canceled due to COVID-19

MYTON, Utah - We regret to inform everyone that our season opener at Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Arizona on April 17th & 18th has been canceled due to the COVID-19 Outbreak.

Per Cocopah Speedway Facebook page. "Attn Cocopah Speedway Racers and Racefans: As everybody knows we are all in a very trying time that we all must take every caution necessary to come together as a team and do the best we can to keep every single one of us safe and out of harm's way. As of today, we are officially canceling the following events. April 11th, April 17th, April 18th, and May 2nd. We will keep the public posted as we can only hope to resume on May 9th but for now let's stay positive and help one another out. God bless yall!"

Also, canceled is the May 15 & 16 races at Aztec Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico.

Per Aztec Speedway Facebook page: "Due to the current Covid19 virus and the data we have looked at, we feel it is in the best interest of our racers and fans and community that we, AZTEC SPEEDWAY, cancel all racing for the month of May 2020. We will continue to monitor the data and communicate with Local and County officials and make informed decisions on the next months events. Thank you and stay healthy"

As of today, we will be having our season opener at the Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wyoming in June.
